Sew easy...........

I have been itching to make one of these teacup pin cushions to put all my decorative pins on,I use them on scrapbook pages and cards.  I am not the best of stitchers as I don't have the patience but something like this is so quick and easy.

It took no time at all to make and I think they are adorable. My teacup is quite plain but imagine doing one with a vintage style teacup which can be picked up really cheaply at a charity shop.

I used the Spice Cake ( 124066) fabric from the Mini catalogue, the colours are a mix of warm and cool colours and work together perfectly.

For the wrist pin cushion I used a matching jumbo button ( 124113). Excuse the photo of that, it was quite difficult to take a picture with one hand and get the other hand at a decent angle!

Oh and finally for the one layer card that I snuck in the photo I used the 'Charming' set ( 125829) from the Mini and the SU Marker Pens.

I have a delivery arriving tomorrow and I am hoping to get some quick samples done before we go skiing, but I won't promise cause no doubt Hubbie will start saying ' have you done this, have you packed that' I will say no more................... toodles x
