Everyday Enchantment
Wow where is the summer? To say I am fed up with walking the dog in a muddy field everyday is an understatement!
What's a girl to do when the weather is naff-CRAFT!
So, here is a LO using the Everyday Enchantment papers.
I created this LO for a crop that I attend once a month.
Having showed the ladies a couple of the techniques I used, they then had a play with the punches and stamps etc to create either the same LO or their own. They created some gorgeous LO's, I do love to see variations of a LO, it furthers your inspiration.
I will be back soon to show you how I created one of the embellishments.
Remember the Everyday Enchantment offer runs until the end of July.

VERY EXCITING NEWS!!!!!!
Hi all,
Its been a while, where has the time gone!!!!
I wanted to let you know the exciting news...................................
Stampin up! has just made a HUGE announcement, which I just know will make you all very happy indeed !! We are aligning our products AND catalogue with the US market ! In future, we will have one Annual Catalogue and two seasonal catalogues : an Autumn/Winter catalogue and a Spring/Summer catalogue. The really exciting news is that they will be BIGGER, and that the products offered will be 'almost' the same as the USA !!! The only products missing from our catalogues, will be MDS (My Digital Studio) and country specific products. Otherwise, our catalogues across the world, will be the same !!!
These are the catalogues and their publications dates:-
Autumn/Winter Catalogue
Dates: 1st September 2012 until 30th January 2013
Size: About 40 full size pages !
Content: Lots of lovely Christmas products and much more !
2012 - 2013 Annual Catalogue
Dates: 1st October 2012 - 30th June 2013. This will run for a shorter period than usual to allow for the transition. Subsequent Catalogues will run for 12 months starting on the 1st July.
Size: At least 204 pages
Content: All core products e.g. cardstock, inks etc., PLUS lots of fabulous stampers, papers, punches, fabrics and even more dies !!! Whoop whoop !!
Spring/Summer Catalogue
Dates: 1st February 2013- 30th June 2013
Size: Approximately the same size as the Autumn/Winter catalogue
Content: More seasonal products to supplement the core products in the Annual Catalogue
I really hope that you are as excited about this news as I am. Demonstrators and customers from all over Europe are whooping and cheering, as its something that we have all been pushing for, for a very long time.

Well Worn and loving it!
I found time to play today hurrah, though to be honest I did not feel like doing much else in this heat!
Now please forgive the photo. I should explain that I take my photos on the mobile phone which has a blogger app on it. Sooooo much easier than getting the camera out and loading up to the computer etc. Though this means sometimes my pictures aren't perfect, this one is a bit blurred, probably my shaky hand!
Today I used the Well Worn papers from the main catalogue, it's the first time I have used them even though I have been planning too for aaaaaages.
I dont know about you but I go through phases of having a favourite way of doing my LO's.
I think what I am saying is I dont't believe I have found my style yet.
I am not saying this is a bad thing, it means I get try out differant styles and it means variety in my LO's. Although I think deep down I really would like to find a style, then I would not spend so much time paper shuffing .
Having said all that, this is where I find Stampin' Up! products such a pleasure to work with. The majority of the hard work is taken away as the papers, inks, ribbons, butttons, fabric etc etc have all been made to co-ordinate. This makes less 'paper shuffling' as I know everything will work together.
Sooooo, getting back to my 'style,' my 'thing' at the moment is to use the leftovers from punching. As you can see from the picture below
I have used the negative from a flower and border punch. This of course means I am keeping hold of every little scrap now and I need to find a tub to put them all in!
So don't forget those little scraps, they can actually make a differance to your LO'S by adding extra detail , layering and depth.
Till next time Happy Crafting x

Attic Boutique Scrapbook Page
Today I thought I would show you a little 6x6 scrapbook page I did for the Training Day (see previous post). As I was short on time - nothing new there, I decided to CASE it but for the life of me I can not find it now (I will keep searching as I would like to mention their name), so forgive me for not giving credit to the person I got my inspiration from.
For this LO I used the Attic Boutique 12x12 papers, Edgelits Dies and Embossing Folders. Also, not forgetting the fabulous twine that is only £2.50 for approx 22 metres and you can choose from 5 colours. All from the Summer Mini Catalogue.
Attic Boutique
Pool Party Bakers Twine
Embossing folders
Edgelits Dies
If you would like to order any of these products please do not hesitate to email me .
Until next time, Happy Crafting !

A day out
I hope you all had a lovely weekend?
After the worries of having an ill hubbi for the past 4 wks I managed to keep a date with the Stampin' Up regional training at Leamington Spa on Saturday. I went with my lovely SU demo friend Jane, we had a great day and I think our only downside was that the weather was very nice that day and we were stuck inside!
I thought I would share with you what I made for the event.
A very over the top name badge, (I had a play with my new scoring board) the theme of the day was "My Way" so hey, its gotta be done right?
We also made swaps and wow was there a frenzy of card swapping when we got there. Imagine 50+ women all frantically trying to swap a card with everyone within 10 mins before we went into the meeting, and then theres me...... desperately trying to glug down a cuppa at the same time.
The swaps were brilliant and I have now aqquired some fabulous ideas to share with you.
Below is my swap, I managed to get 20 quick and easy swaps done and they all went to good homes.
I made the card with my favourite set of the moment Everything Elenor. I have to say I use it for card making and scrapbooking, its a fabulous set. I also used the Boho Blossoms punch, fabulous little flowers that can be used on their own or build up to make a layered flower.
If you would like any of the products I have mentioned please do not hesitate to contact me.
I will be back soon to show you the scrapbook pages I have made using some of the lush new products.
Until then I will leave you with this little reminder........
Have a girly night with your crafty friends- Host a Stampin' Up! party and get FREE products!!!!!!!

Happy St Patricks Day
The legend of St Patrick
Good St. Patrick travelled far, to teach God's Holy Word
And when he came to Erin's sod, a wondrous thing occurred
He plucked a shamrock from the earth and held it in His hand
To symbolise the Trinity that all might understand
The first leaf for the Father
And the second for the Son
The third leaf for the Holy Spirit
All three of them in one.
The ingredients:
Ribbon, ink and card stock-Lucky Limeade
Brad- Pear Pizazz

Ribbon Share
How would you like to own seambinding in all the lush colours without paying for every reel of ribbon?
Seambinding is very on trend at the moment and Stampin' Up! have a gorgeous selection.
Okay so here's how we do it..................
I would like 7 sharers. (is there such a word?)
I will order the seambinding in all the colours. On receiving them I will divide all the ribbons between the amount of people and share them out. Each reel is approx 9m in length, so you will have plenty of ribbon in lots of colours without the expense!
How fabulous is that, ALL the colours of seambinding and only paying £7 inc p&p!
So all you need to do is email me if you are interested and tell me your prefered payment Paypal or Cheque. (if you are at the Upton crop and would like to join in let me know and I will put you on the list and take cash on the crop day if you prefer)
Payment of £7 must be made by the 17th of March 2012

Sew easy...........
I have been itching to make one of these teacup pin cushions to put all my decorative pins on,I use them on scrapbook pages and cards. I am not the best of stitchers as I don't have the patience but something like this is so quick and easy.
It took no time at all to make and I think they are adorable. My teacup is quite plain but imagine doing one with a vintage style teacup which can be picked up really cheaply at a charity shop.
I used the Spice Cake ( 124066) fabric from the Mini catalogue, the colours are a mix of warm and cool colours and work together perfectly.
For the wrist pin cushion I used a matching jumbo button ( 124113). Excuse the photo of that, it was quite difficult to take a picture with one hand and get the other hand at a decent angle!
Oh and finally for the one layer card that I snuck in the photo I used the 'Charming' set ( 125829) from the Mini and the SU Marker Pens.

I have a delivery arriving tomorrow and I am hoping to get some quick samples done before we go skiing, but I won't promise cause no doubt Hubbie will start saying ' have you done this, have you packed that' I will say no more................... toodles x
